Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Sam Oussedik is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with an NHS practice at University College Hospital London. He sees private patients at the Princess Grace Hospital, the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health and the Lister Hospital in Chelsea.
He specialises in knee surgery for sports injuries and degenerative conditions, as well as all forms of trauma surgery.
Mr Oussedik studied medicine at St Bartholomew's medical college prior to undertaking basic surgical training at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Having become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003 he undertook a period of research at University College Hospital investigating the role of stem cells in integrating artificial hips into surrounding bone. During this period he also authored numerous journal articles and co-wrote a book on trauma care. In 2006 he was appointed to the North West Thames training rotation in Trauma and Orthopaedics leading to success at the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeon's examinations in 2010.

Mr Sam Oussedik provides medical advisory services for HCA's Princess Grace Hospital. HCA UK is charged by doctors in return for their expertise and advice, including on how to operate safe hospital facilities delivering complex care. All services provided under this agreement are charged to HCA UK. From January to December 2017, the total charge was £24,048.00. HCA requires the doctors that advise us to attest that if they also practice in the NHS that they are not compromising their NHS commitments.
